PLANTED FOREST

Planted forests are areas of reforestation through the planting, production, handling, and harvesting of crops that meet a sustainable plan

The Planted Forest has become an important source of income and sustainability in Rondonia and in the country. The increase in the planting of coffee, among other crops in the state, has the intention to end the pressure on the native forest and use the resources of the planted forest, in a sustainable way, to dry the grains.

The goal of planting and harvesting in a sustainable way is to work the entire ecosystem and source of income.

The State invested and encouraged the use of degraded areas of capoeiras by creating the Planted Forests Project.

By 2021, 45 thousand hectares of degraded areas will have been transformed into planted forests.
